The Castle Rock Fire Department offers a state of the art emergency medical response system. There are many group medical practices as well as numerous specialists and dentists. Sky Ridge operates an imaging center in downtown Castle Rock in addition to providing the full range of hospital services just minutes to the north.

Public Library:

The Douglas County Library District operates the Philip S. Miller Public Library in Castle Rock, Colorado. This 48,000 square foot facility is open 7 days a week and offers a fine selection of business publications and an ever expanding reference library.

Excellence in Education:

Students in Douglas County School District continue to outpace the state average on the Colorado Student Assessment Program (CSAP). Results show Douglas County continues to exceed state averages in every grade and in every subject tested, topping metro area schools in 20 out of 26 tests. Offering small class sizes, and an excellent curriculum, Douglas County schools also boast of one of the lowest drop-out rates in the State.
